I don't know about you, but 2025 has been a rollercoaster ride I wish I could get off of... I usually LOVE rollercoasters, but not this one!

Despite my intermittent health issues, all the changes happening in the U.S. are affecting my family and everyone around me. My friends don't know if or when they will lose their jobs. Career uncertainty is lingering everywhere I go.

The reality is... We have to find ways to protect ourselves during challenging times.

While no job is worth your health and well-being, uncertainty at work can cause unpleasant feelings that could impact your life both inside and outside of work.

Before you decide on your next steps, I prepared a self-assessment with questions, strategies, an action plan, and how to stay positive despite what's going on.

Here's what I've been doing right now:

  • Whenever possible, I avoid reading/watching the news.
  • I often perform a social media audit: Who is making me anxious? I mute, unfollow, or disconnect.
  • Besides my wonderful therapist, I'm slowly finding people to support me.

Despite what's happening, I can only say that I have many incredible things coming for you this year. Stay tuned!

๐Ÿ’ก Career: Navigating Career Uncertainty

Career uncertainty can feel like an invisible weight pressing down on you. When your job feels unstable, or your workplace drains your energy, itโ€™s easy to get caught in a cycle of stress and self-doubt.

But uncertainty doesnโ€™t mean powerlessness. Even in unpredictable situations, you can take intentional steps to regain control and set yourself up for long-term success.

Hereโ€™s how you can start taking control of your career, even in unpredictable times:

โœ… Develop a Proactive Mindset: Instead of waiting for change, create a plan. Small steps lead to big shifts, whether itโ€™s upskilling, networking on your terms, or exploring new opportunities.

โœ… Set Clear Career Priorities: What do you really want? A stable work environment? A remote role? More autonomy? Defining your priorities helps you make intentional moves.

How to Manage Career Uncertainty With a Positive Attitude

Here are a few ways to start shifting from overwhelmed to empowered:

๐ŸŸฃ Assess Your Situation Honestly: Take stock of your work environment, job stability, and career satisfaction. Understanding where you stand is the first step toward making informed decisions.

๐ŸŸฃ Build a Personal Action Plan: Whether you're improving your skills, networking authentically, or exploring new career paths, a structured plan gives you direction.

๐ŸŸฃ Strengthen Your Resilience: Uncertainty can be exhausting, especially for introverts who thrive in stable, predictable environments. Protect your energy by setting boundaries, managing stress effectively, and celebrating small wins along the way.

๐Ÿ™‚ WELL-BEING: Easy Boundary to Set Now

Everyone thinks boundaries are about learning to say NO, but no one talks about this.

Here are TWO things I recommend you do right now:

Start with a simple action you can do at any moment:

PAUSE

Then, use a simple tool you already have:
